1. Sign Up For Uphold

Already signed up for Uphold? Scroll on down to Step 2!

Click the button above to download Uphold or sign up via the link here.

First, you'll enter some account credentials - your email and a new password, and your country of residence and citizenship. Then you'll need to read and click agree with Uphold's terms of service, assuming you do agree.

Next, enter your first and last name, the territory where you live, and your birth date. Then you'll choose your account username and Uphold will send you a confirmation email. Open the email to continue signing up.

After that, you'll need to sign up for 2-factor authentication, which Uphold uses for extra security for all its user accounts.

"2FA" works by requiring you to confirm inside of the authenticator app that it's actually you signing into Uphold. Uphold uses the Authy app for 2FA.

You'll have to download Authy and sign up using your phone number (this only takes a second or two).

Finally, when your Uphold account has been fully set up, you'll need to verify your identity.

This process doesn't take long either. You'll need to confirm your current address, and upload a photo of a valid ID like your driver's license, as well as a selfie to verify.

2. Copy Uphold Wallet Address

Now we need to locate and copy your Uphold wallet address to send your crypto into your new wallet. You are going to want to locate the wallet on Uphold associated with whatever crypto you are planning on sending over from Binance.

How To Find Your Wallet Address:

  1. Go to your portfolio (wavy button at the bottom of the app screen)
  2. Choose the crypto you want to deposit into Uphold
  3. Click the ellipsis at the top right (...)
  4. Choose the option that says "Wallet Address"
  5. Go to your private wallet
  6. Copy your private wallet address

3. Withdraw Out Of Binance

Lastly, using your copied Uphold address, sign into your Binance account to make the withdrawal:

  1. Go to your wallet menu (selecting "Fiat and Spot" if you're using your browser)
  2. Scroll down and select the crypto you'd like to withdraw, selecting "Withdraw"
  3. Paste your Uphold wallet into the "Recipient Address" field
  4. Choose the correct transfer network for the crypto you're sending
  5. Choose how much crypto you'd like to withdraw
  6. Review and confirm your transaction details, including fees
  7. Click "Submit"

Binance withdrawals usually take around a half-hour to an hour to process.

Keep in mind, Binance charges fees for transfers and it varies from crypto to crypto. You should review these fees yourself before initiating the transfer.
